November 22, 2022, John Walters landed in Sydney after a long 21 hour flight from London via Dubai to build more business in the east side of Australia with Dental Universities and Dental Health Centres.
Sydney, NSW
Design Specific have existing and many potential Clients plus distributors in New South Wales and Queensland where John visited, starting in beautiful Sydney.
Sydney University Dental Hospital and Westmead Dental Centre are two of some of the clients in Sydney.
Henry Schein are Design Specifics main Distributor in Australia and a visit to their Warehouses in Eastern Creek was essential to inspect the demo equipment we use to provide potential clients with an on-site demonstration.
Johns 1st and 2nd hire cars:
Johns weekend drive out to the beautiful Wentworth Falls overlooking the Blue Mountains, west of Sydney.
Brisbane, QLD
Brisbane with Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast was next on Johns’s agenda for Universities and Hospitals in those areas.
The University of Queensland and Queens Jubilee Hospital plus Woolloongabba Community Health Centers in Brisbane all have Design Specific equipment for handling special needs and bariatric patients.
A drive down to the Gold Coast, South of Brisbane and Sunshine Coast, North of Brisbane.
Another flight from Brisbane to Cairns in North Queensland for John, to provide essential equipment training to the staff of Cairns and Hinterland Health Centre who were all please to receive him.
Just North of Cairns, James Cook University also have Design Specific Compact Wheelchair Recliner and Bariatric Bench and staff had requested a visit for advise on maintenance and spare parts as all part of our aftersales service.
A leisurely drive after work to Palm Cove and Port Douglas and Cairns town.
Townsville in Queensland about 4 hours drive South of Cairns has Australia’s currently only private dental clinic to have Design Specifics Compact Wheelchair Recliner and Bariatric Bench – My Tooth Doctor.
John drove from Cairns to Townsville to meet the owners of My Tooth Doctor, Dr. Garret and Mary-Ann Robles who are also part of the leadership in ASSCID (Australian Society of Special Care in Dentistry).
